broccoli

It’s hard to beat the sweet crunch of fresh cut broccoli! We love broccoli barbecued, blanched, sauteed, baked, raw, etc. Best if cooked just until tender in the stalk. Use it sooner to maximize sweetness!

Storage

Store in the fridge in a bag with a damp paper towel. You can always chop it up and freeze it for later if you won’t have time to use it.

Our Recipes

Spicy Sesame oil Broccoli- This is a really quick simple recipe that doesn't overpower the broccoli flavor. Cut the broccoli into bite size pieces and steam until tender. Heat some oil with garlic and toss the steamed broccoli quickly. Salt it to taste or add some fish sauce. Garnish with sesame oil and red pepper flakes.

Grilled Broccoli- Toss chopped broccoli in olive oil, salt and pepper. Grill until stems are tender and slightly blackened. Serve with a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette.

Roasted Broccolini - Turn your oven on for 375 (or maybe 400 because our oven runs pretty hot). Lay broccolini on a baking sheet preferably in a single layer. Drizzle olive oil and salt and cook for about 15 minutes until the fronds are nice and crispy! Put them in a burrito, or on top of a salad, or just by itself.
